What is the role of the Executive Board in Local 26?

Who are the members of the Executive Board, and how are they elected?
The Executive Board consists of the President, Vice President, Financial Secretary, and six elected members who do not hold other elective offices. Members are elected by the union membership every three years through a mail ballot process.

How does the Executive Board handle disputes and disciplinary actions?
The Executive Board acts as the Trial Board to hear charges against members accused of violating the IBEW Constitution, Local 26 Bylaws, or a collective bargaining agreement. The board investigates cases, holds hearings, and makes disciplinary decisions, which may include fines, suspensions, or expulsions.
